So this morning I woke up to see an interview about billionaire Strive Masiyiwa of Econet Zimbabwe speaking on our current president and economic sanctions on Zimbabwe.

Needless to say my reply was met with a lot of likes and retweets lol as well as dislikes but that wasn't my intention. I was speaking on what right someone who was in exile had to endorse a president that millions of Zimbabweans were not happy to with. If he believes ED is sincere then why did he not come and vote for him, Sanctions were brought about as the result of zanu pf's many illegal actions against the people through corruption as well as human rights violations especially on the opposition party leaders and supporters. You might say oh well that was the past but do you remember 1 Aug violence in Harare? 6 if not 7 people died due to misuse of the army in my opinion that is. You might also say there was commission set up to investigate these killings but do we really need a commission to tell us who killed those people when it was quite clear who fired the shots.

Anyway I still stand by what I said on the issue, our "president' still thinks the use of bond notes is very much the best strategy to combat economic problems we face today as a result of that same bond note. Is that not trying to fix a problem with another problem? Like what we did in school by trying to rub off ink with tape hahaha!

I do sincerely hope that Mr Masiyiwa changes his stance or at least looks at the whole picture because now we think he is setting himself to benefit from our economic misery.
